EmpirBus Config 2.40

What is EmpirBus Config?

EmpirBus Config is the PC software used to configure your EmpirBus installation. When downloading you will recieve a package in ZIP format containing the installation files for EmpirBus Config.

New features in this release

	Windows Vista – EmpirBus Config now supports installation on computers running Windows Vista. An updated driver kit supporting EmpirBus USB Interface for Windows 2000/ XP / Vista is also included in the installation (ver. 2.02.04)
	Improved error checking for configuration data – A major revision has been made to the configuration data verification process during configuration transfer time.
	User’s Manual updated – The User’s manual has undergone a major revision and includes a number of updated instructions and examples.

EmpirBus Config 2.40 uses an updated transfer protocol. This new version will recommend that you update your installation by downloading configuration to all units.

New features in recent releases

	Read only copy - New function for shipyards and installers. Enables the possibility to give the end customer a read only copy of the on board configuration. The contents of the read only file can not be changed.
	New file format - EmpirBus Config 2.30 and upwards uses a new encrypted file format.
	System description export - New functionality for quick-and-easy documentation of all units and slavecards in an installation. Press the system export button to collect and save all serialnumbers and hardware versions in the boat.
	Increased fuse levels for dimmer channels on output cards with firmware version 2.3.46. Total fuse limit raised to 16A per output card (previously 8A in total per card).
	New support for 8DI-B-02 input cards. Signalsettings possible for plus, minus and common.
