GP 42ft
Murticyachts is pleased to announce that the first GP 42 series, to a botincarkeek design, is launched. The succes of the largerTP 52 class was an irresistible incentive to the launch and development of the orc GP class. The GP 42 expands on the TP 52 concept, the tremendeous success of which is a sign of what 2006/07 hold for the GP 42 circuit.

The GP 42 requires a high level of building expertise to ensure a finely tuned product. Tolerances are small and accuracy is crucial for every component. Murtic yachts has assembled a quality international build team at its new facility in Zagreb to ensure these demanding standards are met without compromise. Botincarkeek, naval architects, is a name to conjure with in the yachting world, highly in demand on both the racing and cruising markets. The firm has been three-time copa del rey winners, three-time ims european champions, two-time IMS world champions and TP 52 med cup winners, with a client base that extends world-wide.

They are currently the official designers for the New Zaeland America’s Cup syndicate, for the Grand Soleil production line and for the spanish royal family. Aces: a team of builders with a global reputation for building the most advanced race and performance sailing yachts.

The team is led by Nick Beadle, who was envolved in projects like America’s Cup: the New Zaeland Challenge 1988, team New Zaeland 1992, LE DEFI, France 2000, Mascalzone Latino 2003.
